The passion of dedicated Rhum Agricole drinkers inspired our distiller to accept the challenge of creating a world-class Agricole-style rum right here in South Mississippi. He began by juicing Mississippi-grown, heirloom sugarcane on-site at the distillery and immediately sending it through the fermentation process using a well-tested recipe. After distillation in our copper pot still, the liquor was then aged in new American oak barrels for approximately two years. The resulting spirit exhibits the perfect amount of grassiness, with the vegetal notes most prominent at the back end. A very limited seasonal release, look for Circle Hook Agricole-Style Rum in late fall at select liquor stores.
